Services Personalised To Your Case
Our services are designed to treat kidney stones in a way that best suits the patient – there are various treatments that are used for specific cases of kidney stones. These depend on the location and size of the kidney stones, as they can vary hugely. Kidney stones can range from under 1mm in width to over 20mm – smaller stones are easier to address, while larger stones will nearly always require treatment.
If you have Kidney Stones
We are here to help
Kidney Stone Melbourne is the practice of Mr Uri Hanegbi. Our purpose is to remedy your kidney pain by removing your kidney stones.
This website contains detailed information about kidney stones – their causes, symptoms, treatment options and what can be done to prevent them. Kidney stones are formed as a result of ordinary chemicals in the kidney solidifying. This is usually due to an abnormality, related to a physical or chemical issue. These chemicals then precipitate, becoming solid particles which in turn may become crystals. These crystals grow over time to become kidney stones.
Kidney stones may cause pain, however you do not need to be experiencing pain to have kidney stones. The pain that stems from kidney stones is due to renal colic, which occurs when a kidney stone passes through the ureter.

Medical Conditions
CAUSING KIDNEY STONES
Most people with kidney stones do NOT have a medical condition causing the stones. This is called IDIOPATHIC stone disease and accounts for most of the kidney stones seen in the Western World.
There are a few medical conditions which are sometimes associated with a higher risk of forming kidney stones.
